Housekeeping Supervisors coordinate, schedule, and supervise cleaning activities, working in conjunction with the Chief Housekeeper to direct, coach, support, supervise, and evaluate the performance of direct reports. He/she conducts inspections; manages assignment of duties and workstations to the staff; as well as handles and maintains records,reports, supplies, and equipment. Requirements for this role include housekeeping supervisory experience in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise line;knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques, and use of equipment; and completion of basic education or its equivalent.
