SECURITY
The Port Facility Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Private Destination. The Port Facility Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our Team members, Visitors, and property. This role focuses on Guests, Team Members, and Visitors’ safety and responds to any emergency. The Port Facility Security Guard will assist with the security and surveillance of Guests, Team Members, Visitors, equipment, and systems to ensure safety at the Destination. This position leads by example and requires exemplary organization, attention to detail, excellent Guest and Team Member engagement, and product and service standards knowledge. The Port Facility Security Guard must have a high integrity, be professional in manner and communication, and meticulous in their work with the ability to apply critical thinking to identify risks and determine appropriate action. This position reports to the Assistant Port Facility Security Officer (APFSO) and assists in implementing and running the Destination Security Plan to ensure a secure environment. All duties and responsibilities are performed following Royal Caribbean International’s Brand Standards, the Royal Way philosophy, Company policies, and SOPs, Public Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental Guidelines.
