Gandemanger - CDPN
Our Gandemanger is the head of Pantry and other cold preparation stations across the ship. Is responsiblefor maintaining all recipe's and public health standards and ensure they are being followed. Handles a team of 10-20 employees in his/her station.
He or she shall be responsible for adhering to the budget allocated to the station on a daily basis, maintaining communication with his/her Sous Chef for any relevant data needed in daily operation.
Operating under the guidance of the Executive Chef, the Pantry team is responsible for routine food production, as indicated in the menu plan and recipes, in the cold galley and other assigned areas. Team members are responsible for maintaining cleanliness, presentation, and quality standards; and managing equipment and machinery in their assigned areas/workstations. Members of this team must have extensive cooking and food preparation experience in the pantry.
If you have about 5-7 years ef experience as a CDP1 Pantry or Gandemanger or a similar position in a four- or five-star cruise ship, hotel, restaurant, or high-volume food service facility you are the talent we are looking for.
