Engine Ratings

The Repairman shall perform general repairs and maintenance across shipboard systems and structures. The Repairman supports multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and fittings) to ensure safe, reliable, and aesthetically pleasing vessel operations for guests and crew.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications& Training:

·       Minimum2-4 years of experience and knowledge in welding repair, mechanical fitting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or equivalent.

·       Valid welding certificate from a recognized authority; ability to perform shipboard welding tasks.

·       Practical experience with multi-trade repairs and use of common hand and power tools; basic welding may be advantageous.

·       Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and fittings; understanding of corrosion prevention in a marine environment.

·       Additional certifications in rigging, working at heights, confined space entry, welding(MIG/TIG), or related deck/maintenance certifications.
