SECURITY DIRECTOR
The Security Leader is responsible for ensuring full compliance with ISPS, PFSP, corporate security standards, and all applicable Mexican laws while safeguarding Guests, Team Members, assets, and port operations. This role leads the development and execution of security policies, risk mitigation strategies, and emergency response programs aligned with global security objectives and local operating conditions.
The position oversees 24/7 security operations, access control, CCTV systems, investigations, and incident response, while coordinating closely with Port Facility Security Officers, vessel security leadership, government authorities, and internal stakeholders. A strong focus is placed on proactive risk assessment, intelligence?led decision?making, and effective management of protests, labor actions, and jurisdiction?specific threats.
This leader directs, trains, and evaluates internal security teams and third?party guard services, ensuring licensing, training, and labor compliance. Financial oversight includes budget management, contract administration, cost control, and resource planning.
The role serves as a key advisor to the Port Director and Global Security, providing clear reporting on risks, incidents, compliance status, and operational performance while supporting a resilient, compliant, and secure port environment.
