Electrician Officers

Responsibilities
1. Monitors all electrical equipment onboard to maximize operational safety and efficiency of the vessel. 
2. Safe maintenance, operation, repair, supervision and ownership of electrical systems according to 
Company policies and other prescribed regulations (to include but not limited to the following):
a. High voltage systems 
b. Main and auxiliary engines
c. Communications
d. Light systems including emergency lighting and power supply
e. Control systems
f. Power and engine systems
g. Generators
h. Thrusters
i. Steering gear
j. Hi fog
k. Watertight doors
l. Electrical installation in the engine room
m. Navigation systems
n. Emergency systems
o. Elevators
p. Fire alarm systems
q. Automation
r. Diesel electric propulsion
s. Shell doors and platform equipment
t. Galley and pantry equipment
u. Provision equipment 
v. Laundry machinery and equipment (main laundry as well as Guest and Crew Laundries)
w. Dining, Bar, Housekeeping pantry equipment 
x. Rooms Division equipment
y. Incinerator, garbage and food waste system
